 Well, here goes nothing....
I'm a student; unemployed (but I'm working on it) and it's almost the end of my first year of college. That's British college, which I've learnt is totally different to the American version, so I guess this is all confusing. I live in Derbyshire, which consists of a million green fields and the smallest city you've ever seen. Not much happens here, hence me making my own entertainment by creating a website. And blogging continually. And Facebooking. I'm not exactly the average 17 year old, I like a lot of far-out stuff.
First things first: I'm sci fi mad. Yeah, this is only a recent obsession, so bear with me while I get used to it, but so far I've ventured into H.G.Wells, and love it!

Secondly: I'm a wannabe writer. So... yeah. I've always loved gothic horror, but now I'm edging towards sci fi for reasons unknown - hey, it can only be good, right? Recently (and I mean recently, like in the past few weeks) I've been thinking of screenwriting... It sounds like the sort of thing I could enjoy doing forever. I've done a bit of research, read a few books, downloaded a few scripts (all of which is legal from the BBC website hahaa) and had a little look into the layouts of scripts. I'm getting the hang of it gradually, but college keeps getting in the way of anything serious. But it's almost the holidays so... meh, we'll see.

Thirdly: I'm also self-confessedly obsessed with Cardiff, so expect many rants on this subject. I can't explain how much I love this place... Seriously... I'm in awe that I, a country girl, could ever think of a city as beautiful, but anyone who's been to Cardiff will probably (hopefully!) agree with me. I want to go back there, hopefully pretty soon, but it's hard when you're a student.... *woe is me*.
